Senior Project Manager

Our client is a growing industrial gas, infrastructure company seeking an experienced project leader to oversee the execution and delivery of large-scale projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

About the Role 

This role will be responsible for leading project teams, managing contractors and stakeholders, ensuring commercial performance, and driving successful project delivery from project award through completion.

Key Reponsibilities

• Lead project execution and delivery of industrial infrastructure projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, project schedules, budgets, and commercial performance to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Build and lead a high-performing Project Department, driving project governance, operational excellence, and team development.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in EPC, industrial gas, petrochemical, utilities, semiconductor, or Oil & Gas project environments.
• Proven track record managing RM100 million+ project portfolios across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
• Strong background in project execution, contractor management, commercial administration, and budget control.
• Experience leading regional project teams and delivering complex industrial infrastructure, process systems, piping, or plant installation projects.
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related discipline).
• PMP, Professional Engineer (Ir.), or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally as required.
